Rockstock, the annual Outdoor Concert will team up with a good cause this year, the local Heart and Stroke Foundation. This year's event will be called "Rockstock for the Heart' and be held in picturesqu eTecumseh Park along the banks of the Thames River. Profits from the ticket sales will go toward heart and stroke research.

The headliner band this year will be the Doors. The Doors formed their band in 1965 in L.A.. The group consisted of vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, drummer John Densmore and guitarist Robby Kreiger. After Morrison's death in 1971 the remaining members continued as a trio before disbanding in 1973. However the Doors popularity has remained and they have sold over 32.5 million albums in the U.S. alone and 75 million worldwide. Manzarek and Kreiger occasionally tour with additional musicians performing exclusively Doors songs. Former Feul Singer, Brett Scallion will be providing vocals for the Chatham perfromance.
