If you have every dreamed about that special place to kick back and enjoy a little slower pace, you owe it to yourself to check out the Real Estate in this wonderful little community.

Chatham-Kent is located in the middle of the Great Lakes. It is a great place to visit with 9 golf courses in the area and lots of boating and fishing. There are several cottage areas like Erieau located on Lake Erie, Mitchell's Bay and Lighthouse Cove located on Lake St. Clair. The St. Clair River with it's beautiful Scenery and blue water is a great place to just take a picnic lunch, sit along the banks and watch the freighters from all over the world pass by or wander the streets of the quaint little village of Sombra.

In the winter the Thames River which runs through Chatham to Lake St. Clair often freezes over. The Ice Fishermen are out in mass driving their cars across the ice at Mitchell's Bay and building fishing huts for warmth. The snowmobiles run up and down the 19 miles from the mouth of the Thames River at Lighthouse Cove to downtown Chatham and children can be seen skating and playing hockey on the home made rinks behind the Beautiful Riverfront Homes.

Spring and Fall bring Hunters from all around the world to the area. Chatham-Kent is a well know paradise for the hunting enthusiast.

Historic Downtown Chatham has a Unique Boutique Hotel, the Retro Suites, that you will surely want to stay at. Enjoy one of the special period rooms. It's charm will keep you coming back again and again.

Join us for one of the Special Events held troughout the year or for one of the spectacular performaces at the fully restored Capital Theatre in Sept 2010.Take a tour of the many Wineries in the area or enjoy the history of Uncle Tom's Cabin and one of the most famous stops of the Underground Railroad.
